"It was snow storm that night. I was told parking lot will be cleaned Overnight but it was not clean and Getting out was a struggle. There was nothing in the room except towels but was Clean"

"Isn't any too updated but that's a lot of things in the Soo. Was clean and comfortable enough though and would be great in the summer months if you wanted to be right downtown amongst the shops and is certainly a Soo Locks View place. Canceled my 1st of 3 nights stay the same day I was going to stay there and they allowed me to, so that was something they didn't have to do but did anyways so was very ,very nice of them!"

"A great option for skiing at searchmont (about 35 minute drive). Easy access from car to suite on first floor units with sliding doors and adjacent parking ( to bring boots and gear inside). The included self serve breakfast was also above average for this type of accommodation. Located in an area with many chain restaurants. Mattresses were firm and comfortable. Room heating was quiet and comfortable with digital thermostat."

"Well, those that know me would say that I had died and gone to heaven at the Outdoorsman Motel. What a lovely, comfortable place. The knotty pine and cabin motif add to your vacation vibe, but it is the management that made it heaven. I went down to ask for two drinking glasses as we were going to have a relaxing cocktail at the end of a day full of hiking, sightseeing, and absorbing the nearby beauty of the area. "Very comfortable and homey interior decor. Very friendly staff who made me feel safe. The heater was difficult to work - it was freezing cold when I arrived and the heat only turned on at 10pm... you cannot set a temperature you just turn on a switch. The property is next to a main road with many food options and gas stations nearby so very convenient during a roadtrip. "
