"The location was ideal for getting around Vichy. The immediate area (and the hotel itself) seemed in need of some polishing and updating. My broken French and their English made things easy. We did not try the breakfast. The front desk staff were very friendly and kind. We were there in May and the weather was unseasonably warm. "We have stayed here before and knew it was just about ok for an overnight stop, however our previous visits had been earlier in the year. On this occasion in July it was much warmer and the in room AC was almost pointless, barely any flow even on maximum and it did very little to cool the room. The room and building are showing their age and are shabby round the edges."

"This place is lovely has all you need on site clean and thought out well, very peaceful away from the crowd but only a couple of miles from nice villages. Fishing was ok but the lilies really needs to be cleared. It is ideal for a couples, would definitely return. We had our dog with us he loved it and we felt very safe. Jerome is a very good host was there to sort anything when he said"
