"The property is across from iHop, which was convenient, with Pizza Hut, McDonalds and other restaurants nearby. The office staff were very polite and friendly. The room was large. I would definitely stay there again."

"This locally owned hotel was clean with creatively folded towels and newly painted halls and updating.There was a refrigerator, microwave and desk in this spacious room.The complimentary breakfast has" make your own waffles ", eggs, yogurt,pasteries and milk.Decaf was made available which many hotels don't do.There is a restaurant in the hotel.I frequent this hotel as my mom is in the nursing home, Madigan Estates.The staff have been very helpful.Houlton is quaint but has everything you need.It has 2 museums, a movie theater, winery, gaming, interesting restaurants, lots of beautiful farms, lakes and holiday events like hometown parades and fairs.There are plenty of trails to hike, fish and snowmobile."

"Friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are comforable and clean. The only issue I had was the shower curtain rod being slightly pull out of the wall in my room. Nothing a little on the fly rigging didnt fix. Will recommend others to stay. "

"Used this as base camp for bird hunting in the NMW for a week in October with my dad and his dog. Was a perfect spot to crash at the end of long day in the woods. Comfortable at night, even had the luxury of the TV to watch playoff baseball at night, and the sunrises were amazing every day. Eric was very welcoming of the dog and very quick to answer any questions. Would tell friend s a stay here again."
