"I've lived in Vietnam for several years and never went to a FLC. If you don't live in Vietnam FLC is a Vietnamese owned and operated company. So 5 stars isn't international standard 5 stars. Also its catered to Vietnamese guests (explained below.) The rooms are nice enough especially if you stay in the Villas. "Nice quiet room we had. Don’t know if you had one on other side. Staff was friendly although English was limited. At breakfast the staff very helpful. I asked for 1 hour delay at checkout but they were only able to accommodate 30min. Room are nice and clean. Since it’s holiday weekend a lot of kids. Made the pool water not as clear as you would expect. I would stay here again. "

"This is a great hotel, very charming, lovely bedroom. The place is let down by the restaurant. All food service ends at 9pm and the breakfast was really poor. Trying to aim at Western audience, stale croissants (Vietnam is famed for its great bread and pastries), packet bread. When things empty, eg no fruit in the buffet, you had to ask even though there was a manager and 5 members of staff doing nothing but chatting. Don’t even offer chopsticks in an Asian country! "
