"Had an email to say thecreception was closing at 8, so got a taxi from station just in time. Spacious ground floor room, and reasonable breakfast. Lots of steps, but I expect thats what you get when refurbishing an old building. Staff very helpful. "

"This place is absolutely beautiful and is in a very lively part of town, which is part of its charm. The only real "issue" we had was that the water would go from freezing cold to scolding hot while you're in the shower and it got my back pretty good! Parking is about a 10 minute walk away in a place called the Prinz Gregor hotel and if you get the mountain view room (which faces the front of the hotel with a balcony) there can be a bit of noise since we were directly in front of the main town...

"We have stayed in Junior Suite for one night. The room exceeded our expectations. It was renovated, very well kept. There were queues during the breakfast for serving the food, though there were plenty of tables to sit at. The restaurant seemed a little bit crowded. We gad a great experience. Recommend."

"The rooms were in an excellent location and were both comfortable and clean. I just don’t feel comfortable with remote checkin. I like having someone on site. That is my personal taste and the reason I didn’t give it a perfect score."

"We stayed in the Suite, which had a big bedroom for us and a smaller one for the kids. The architecture and decorations resemble Transylvanian roots with a modern touch. We loved the pressed artwork and wished we could buy one to take home :). The pillows, bedsheets and towels were high quality. And the shower head had all sorts of "massaging modes" that were amazing after a hike. Same attention to detail is showcased throughout the property. "Fantastic location, we could see the Black Church from our bathroom window! Really quirky and cosy attic room with exposed beams. Great bathroom, and really nice touches like candy in the room. The host couldn't have been more helpful, in regular touch to ensure we could check in early, and with advice re breakfast etc. Highly recommend! Such good value."
