"Very difficult to get to with a private car since it is in a no traffic zone. Would recommend parking outside the no traffic zone with a small, hotel shuttle van."

"Nice place to stay in the Black Forest region. Clean comfortable room. Check in was a small challenge due to language barrier, but quickly done. Restaurant food and service was great. There is no elevator to second floor in one building, so be prepared to carry your luggage up the set of stairs. The St Margen cloister museum nearby is a must see for any clock enthusiasts."

"The front desk lady that checked us in was very nice. Limited parking out front, but it’s free and we got a spot. Rooms are nice, though a little dated. Slow internet, but you’re in the heart of the Black Forrest so it is what it is. Overall great location and friendly staff. I would absolutely recommend staying here. Easy short drive to the buses for the Christmas market too!"

"We were very impressed by the breakfast buffet - the variety and the staff tending to the guests. The staff and management at the front desk however seemed somewhat untrained and extremely limited in their role to address guest concerns."

"Great hotel! You can use the longboards, bikes and paddleboard. The town is sooo cute with little souvenir stores."

"Very nice hotel with a great sauna that wasn’t super busy, restaurant had delicious food with a nice views, private beach on the lake was really enjoyable and even though our room was 300m up a very steep hill (and we had no car) the views were well worth it. Only downside was there was no spa treatments or massages available as the person was on leave. This town is definitely a place where you want to indulge in such activities, especially in peak August season. Would recommend staying here....

The buffet was always refilled and there was never a shortage of anything. We stayed with friends (3 rooms) and got to see that they are all a bit different. "Decent sized room (panoramic king) able to open 2 big luggages. Great location, across from main train stn, and short walk to old town. Newer hotel facilities, but need to request for amenities such as room slippers. Supermarket, pharmacy, food all within reach, enjoyed my stay."
