"Most nicest and luxurious hotel in La Fortuna. The best location. Nice view of the Volcano.Staff was great, attentive and friendly. Hotel common areas and rooms were very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was nicely equipped to make your stay comfortable. Will definitely stay again when coming back to visit. Highly recommend."

"The villa was beautiful and spacious! Only one thing the hot water wasn't working and maybe they can add a safety bar for when stepping up or out of the tub/shower because it's a high step. The host was wonderful and went out of her way to make us feel like home."

"The entire property is beautifully maintained. The huge hot tub was enjoyed by all of our party. Santiago was so helpful and met us and helped us get set up in our Villa. The views all around us were fabulous. I would recommend this property to anyone."

"Place was super clean and location was amazing. Short walk to town and to activities. Only issue was that the 2 bedrooms inside plus the bathroom had walls that do not go all the way to the ceiling. So you get privacy but no privacy from noise. Everyone can hear you in the bathroom and the 2 front bedrooms you can hear everything. If anyone gets up early or stays up late, this impacts everyone. I would not stay again due to this unless it was just with 2 people in the back master bedroom."

"This was the best house I stayed at in my entire life. It is huge in pristine condition clean. Surrounded by tropical Paradise. I will remember this home for the rest of my life. I want to go back and live in Costa Rica permanently lol. I didn’t want to leave. The family is amazing and treated me like one of them. They took me out and let me see all the frogs and wildlife and help me explore. They are absolutely amazing and I wish they were my real family."

"Overall, this was a beautiful space to stay, the communication for the check in process was smooth, and answers to questions were very responsive. We selected this location with hopes that it would be a bit closer to La Fortuna, it is a bit further out than shown in the map in the VRBO description. "Los Lagos Casa de Campo was everything we expected. The accommodations were quiet, roomy and clean. The grounds were beautiful and well taken care of. We would definitely stay again. "

"Our little family of 3 loved staying here! The hosts were friendly and helpful showing us around the property right upon arrival. The area surrounding the property has so much to do - within 10 minutes you can see sloths, toucans, owls, lizards, iguanas and many different species of birds. The home was clean and well stocked with kitchen supplies, towels and plenty of space to relax and cook or eat a meal. We had an amazing stay! "

"The property was very clean! Anything questions we had were answered very quickly through WhatsApp. It was nice to know the owners are very attentive to your needs! It has everything we needed! It is about 10 minutes from town, but once you get used to the drive it gets easier. The road felt safe and no animals or critters came into the house (we were worried that might happen). "You will need to have a car to stay at this unique property in La Fortuna. It is the perfect home to rent if two families or a large group of friends are traveling together. The home was clean. The common spaces were a little small, so it makes a great place to rest your head at night but not to hang out as a group. It is a quick drive into La Fortuna and all the activites in the area. There are a lot of dining options if you don't want to prepare your own meals.The home was clean and the beds...

"We selected Hotel Lomas for our trip because of the amenities and overall apprearance. After a long day of fun physical activities it was nice to not have to go back into town to enjoy a wonderful local cuisine them relax at the pool bar or the regular bar. We met so many cool people from all over the world. Fabulous experience!"

10 Hot Spring Pools

"Great 10 Hot Spring pools! View from room was spectacular; but the walls between rooms was paper thin and if our bathroom door wasn't closed, we could hear our neighbors. This was also true with the shower...could not take a shower when our neighbors were due to lack of hot water. Good restaurant, excellent breakfast and VERY pleasant dining room. Plenty of fresh drinking water available. Nice walking around resort. Beautiful spa overlooking the river. Birds, flowering plants and iguanas abundant. Hope the hotel reception can replace their area rug soon...dirty and falling apart. Sushi bar and pool were outstanding for a smaller meal. Happy hours 4-5 and 5-6! Yes, highly recommend the resort. Don't be surprised by the gravel road that takes you there..."

"Beautiful resort. Wish we had stayed longer. Staff everywhere were extremely friendly. We had a a 2nd floor deluxe room which faced the volcano but was partially obscured by a tree. No big deal. Still an amazing view. Food at the restaurant was very good but there wasn't much Costa Rican variety. Pool and the bar were great. My only issue was that they wouldnt exchange any US currency to Costa Rican. Also keep in mind that this resort is about a 20 minute drive from La Fortuna."
