"Very clean and comfy got the job done for one night before heading back home. Very close to the airport with a free shuttle to the airport which was great. Free breakfast was also a plus, pretty tasty and lots of choices of juices and coffee/tea. Some construction going on next to the pool which was the only downside, tried to relax by the pool with a coffee in the morning before my flight and it was a bit noisy. Other than that though great stay I’m sure once the construction is done the hotel will be perfect "

"Amazing visit to the Parador resort. Large rooms made it comfortable for our whole family to share a room. Daily house keeping, and breakfast included was a huge plus. There are many pools to choose from and all the restaurants and bars were great. The staff were amazing. The wildlife at the resort is a great plus! "

"This property is absolutely gorgeous. I was disappointed in the management of the the property. Arriving guests had to wait a long time to check In and to get simple questions answered. They never answered the phones at all. The property is huge so you have to walk a lot but they have shuttles that never seemed to come to our building. They have limited towels and the food was horrible. There were very limited food choices and it was bland to taste. We tried the specialty dinning and the food was not good at all. We had to check out early due to having to drive 3 hours to another airport. The attendant would not let us exit without a piece of paper and this caused us to travel late during the night. If the lines weren’t so long we should have just been able to leave. I would not stay here again unless they made a lot of changes to their iteniary. "

"1 complaint is the awful shuttle experience I had upon arrival. Was reserved on 2:30pm shuttle from SJO, but spent over 2 hrs & numerous unanswered calls to front desk, I was repeatedly told only via email the driver is "15 minutes away". This went on every 15 minutes for 2+ hrs! I didn't leave the designated pick-up area to avoid missing it the shuttle. I literally stood outside the airport (no seats for waiting), w/out a bathroom break, water, w/out applying my bug spray (very much needed during rainy season when mosquitoes are bad), & w/out air conditioning. I was tired, frustrated, & received false information for over 2 full hours from front desk staff that refused to answer my calls or call me back, but would only email me instead. I would've caught an Uber/Taxi, but was being consistently told that the driver was only 15 mins. I was told to wait under the Hotel Shuttle sign or the driver would leave & that he was in a gray/silver minivan. Over 2 hrs later, at 4:38pm, driver arrived in a dark navy BLUE van, & stopped at the airport exit doors, NOT at the Hotel Shuttle sign over 200 feet away. The advertised "20 min ride" to Barcelo was actually an HOUR & a half! Staff claimed no control of traffic, but my point was they live there, know daily traffic patterns & rush hours, they said it's normally heavy, so don't falsely say it's 20 mins. as if that is normal. Don't threaten $30 penalty for passengers missing the van, when no credit given to passengers that wait 2 hrs! "

"The staff was amazing. I was celebrating my birthday and they added some special touches that made my trip even more enjoyable. The property is beautiful and in a great location. "
