"Cozy, neat and perfect location for recent AT section hike. Great for slack packing days around McAfee Knob and Dragon’s Tooth trail attractions. Playground in town was perfect for the grandkids play time. Close enough to enjoy the amenities of Daleville, Troutville and Roanoke. Only detractions were the lack of immediate food options in Catawba and the obstructive view of the oncoming traffic from the driveway. "

"The old/new farm house is by far the best place we have stayed. It was amazing! The house was perfect inside and outside. Every little detail was well thought out and perfect. The bedrooms each had their own new bathrooms. The outdoor fire pit area was a big hit with our group, everything was new in the kitchen and the rest of the home. "The listing and pictures do not do this location justice. There was plenty of room for us to move about and not be on top of one another. The kitchen was well outfitted with flat ware and utensils for anything we wanted to cook and serve. The upstairs living space was comfortable and we made good use of the fireplace.
