"We had an executive suite which was excellent, it was well worth the extra money for the space & the extra touches. The quality of the furnishings & the bedding were very good & the bed was very comfy, we slept so well. it was cleaned each day to the same standard, the only slight issue was the soap dispensers we not very full & we ran out of all by the second day & the one on the sink wasn`t filled, only the bath & shower, we made do as it was our last night. Excellent from beginning to end

"Check in was smooth. Room was clean and adequately equipped. Towels changed and toiletries etc replenished daily. Breakfast choice was great food excellent. We dined in on the Sunday evening after a splendid afternoon at Carlisle races, outstanding food, cooked to perfection. Special mention for Kyle behind the bar and waitering, 5⭐ service, a real asset to your establishment, polite, knew his job and was great at it too all done with a smile. Would I recommend the Cumbria hotel to fellow travelers, without hesitation. We will definitely be returning, hopefully Kyle will still be there 👍"
