"The property was ideal for a large extended family get together. Comfortable bedrooms and shared rooms, with nice private garden to relax in when sunny. It had all the facilities we needed and was clean throughout. Phillipa, the host, was always responsive on messages and gave us a lovely welcome gift of warm bread and cake. "Really good location- good base to explore the surrounding areas from- Greeted by Richard who showed us around explaining everything we needed to know and told us some places to visit and eat. The accommodation is first class and highly recommended. Very clean with good appliances from washing machine to toaster. Very comfortable seating to view the large tv along with the comfortable beds in both rooms. We will certainly be booking again in the near future. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ "

"We really enjoyed our stay in these combined cottages which have been refurbished to a high standard. The setting beside the river is lovely - saw kingfishers and herons. Beds v comfortable, bathrooms good. Worth mentioning that all bedrooms are up stairs, but our party, whch included 2 with walking difficulties managed fine. We are very likely to come back"

Property advertised for up to 10, but would think it could be a bit of a squeeze unless several of party were small children. There were 6 of us and it was perfect size"

"Stunning cottage in the best location. We didn’t have a car so location was key. Within a couple of minutes walk you are in the Chatsworth Estate. The local bus stop is just across the road which is great for using the hop on hop off open top bus in the summer. Also a great Italian restaurant in Baslow. I highly recommend this cottage & will definitely rebook. "
