"We enjoyed our stay overall. It was a little spoiled that the AC was not working in the first room we were allocated. I had paid for an upgrade too. We were moved to another room without any fuss and I was refunded on checkout. The hotel is well located, close to the Cathedral and a 5 minute walk to the quayside. "Good hotel in a central location. Nicely themed to the 1920’s. The lack of parking facilities means a walk to the nearest parking if travelling by car. The most disappointing part of our stay was the service at breakfast. Part buffet style but lots of items not available and had to ask for basics to be replenished - orange juice, milk, bread, and no tomato ketchup both mornings!! How difficult is it to get ketchup??? "

"Only stayed for one night but it was just over half the price of the local Premier inn and I was given an apartment not a room, pretty clean with a sea view and plenty to do there although I didn't have time to use any of the amenities. Free parking on site and a decent restaurant, Only thing is it's a pretty old hotel and looking a bit dated and tired but not really an issue. I will try to book this hotel again if I am in the area in the future."
