Room (5th floor) was a great size, clean, very comfortable. Had everything you might require for a stay in the room and everything was good quality. We had one meal in the restaurant and it was great. Food was delicious and service was quick, efficient and attentive. Really impressed. Would absolutely stay again. "

"Had a wonderful overnight stay with my daughter to celebrate her birthday. Room was lovely, modern and clean. The hotel surprised her with chocolates and wine which made our stay so much more special. All the staff from reception to bar to concierge were wonderful and could not do enough for us. Highly recommend breakfast too. Overall a wonderful stay and I will be back."

"The room & facilities were great. The location was perfect- great view next to the castle & 3 min walk to Grassmarket. The breakfast was a bit of a let down - £16.95 for a full breakfast & half of the items were missing - had to ask for them to be topped up & then had to wait almost 10 mins for them to arrive. Most of the other items were cold & our friend even asked for hers to be heated up in the microwave. Was not worth the £16.95"

"Excellent location right beside tram station which arrives direct from airport. Lots of added extras like champagne on arrival, free mini bar and ghd in room . Situated middle of old and new town. Walking distance to Edinburgh Castle . Definitely be back , best ever hotel "
