"This was my 2nd stay here at the View hotel. Always a good stay. Nice chilled vibe - not much to do around Eastbourne its self (I’m 28) but there are some shops, eat options and cinema. not far from Brighton. Breakfast it’s lovely, lots of options. "

"Amazing hotel and grounds. Plenty of parking out of season so no need to pay to pre book. We stayed in a superior room which looked newly renovated. The bed was comfy and everything was high quality. Breakfast in the morning was also very nice and good quality, and all ordered and served with table service. There was also a self serve continental buffet. Staff all friendly and helpful, making it a pleasurable experience overall. "

The bathroom is due a revamp but was still serviceable. Make sure you check out the piano bar and main stairwells."

The rooms themselves were medium sized and had a shared balcony area above the first floor, and as I have been to Eastbourne countless times at many hotels I would put this definitely in the upper ranks compared to all others. The man on reception was very friendly and funny. The only downside was that due to being immediately on the seafront, you have no choice but to listen to whatever is playing on the bandstand, which wasn’t great for my mother who...
