"We stayed in a unmodernised room I'm sure when all rooms are finished it will be marvellous. Breakfast is in a dark room with very bad lights. No poached eggs, coffee from a machine , where was the service, most of the staff were ok Big thank you to the doorman."

"Had a 2 day stay at Buxted Park Hotel for a family wedding. The facilities were amazing. The rooms for the ceremony were spacious, clean and well able to cater for the wedding guests. "The room once it was available was lovely though we didn't really get to appreciate the 'Mews' setting as by the time the room was ready it was dark (90mins wait). The dinner and breakfast were both very nice, and the serve was good. I'd read the hotel had been refurbished but they obviously hadn't changed the carpets, which were very worn in places. Overall it was a relaxing stay"

"The hotel was lovely and in a brilliant location in the centre of Rye. There are lots of really good restaurants nearby. We didn’t have a drink in the hotel bar, but it looked nice and welcoming. We were upgraded to a luxury room, which had a roll top bath and a huge, really comfy bed! I have given 5 stars instead of 4 as the B&B rate only included a continental breakfast and you had to pay extra for a cooked. This was the only negative."
