"Everthing was great! the food at the restarant and the buffet were amazing. The bed was very confortable and the room clean. It would've been perfect, but THE ONE thing we didn't like happened wehn we left. We needed a taxi to the airport and we were told the hotel has a taxi company the work with, so they called one for us. we were told the taxi accepted card, but once we got to the airport the driver was very insistent that he wanted cash. "Very enjoyable stay in a comfortable and quiet setting. Very easy access to downtown Zurich via tram (barely a 2 minute walk from the hotel). A very good place for travellers on a budget as well as looking for a place away from the hustle and bustle of downtown but that you can get to easily."

"Love the location. The hotel is a bit older but very cute and quaint. I asked to be upgraded to a double room and unfortunately, they just pushed two twin beds together so it was a bit disappointing. I was staying with my dad and the room was very small for the two of us but we made it work. The staff were friendly, the breakfast was great, and I was able to check-in after hours with ease so overall, I'd give this experience four stars! "

"The place is few blocks from Kloten banhoff, but but no direct train from the airport . The Bus number 135 is only 7 mins that drop you off in front of Kloten train station. Nice burger restaurant next to the hotel. The Kloten banhoff is only few mins to Zurich HB. "

"Came for a solo trip to Swizzy. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was ideal with easy access to public transport. The airport, main bus and train stations are literally 10 mins away by public transport. Strongly recommend booking with Ibis Budget at Zurich City West. "

"Great location and easy walk to Hallestadium. . Underground car park with good size spaces for CHF29 per night. Room with kitchen was a good size and well equiped. 44sq. All was good apart from the reception staff, it would be a fantastic improvement if they were polite, mannerly and know their job well."
