"Incredibly beautiful place in an unexpected discovery that we were staying in an ancient fortress of an ancient city. Could not ask for more in such conditions, where everything was ancient in the city but everything in the hotel was modern. Small room, but incredibly quaint, and the bathroom was glorious, shower was incredible, water pressure and temperature perfect. "This hotel has an amazing position. On the square of central Nimes. Window overlooking the beautiful fountain. Close to bus and trains. Parking is in the street paid but there is an option for €17 to park underground but this goes from 3 pm to 3 pm. The reception are extremely helpful. 1 elevator for 3 floors. Rooms are a large size with kitchenette. The bed in our room was a bit tired but still comfortable. Rooms are very clean and quiet at night. Tips for other travelers - there is no toaster...

"We enjoyed our stay in this old but sympathetcally modernised building. It's very central, as the name suggests, and only a short, pleasant, walk from the station. Friendly and helpful people, not a bad breakfast. Spotlessly clean, if slightly faded and no lift but that goes with the building. Good value for what and where it is, we will probably stay again."
