"Really lovely stay here. I'm very picky about beds and especially pillows and I was pleasantly surprised with their selection. Yes the double bed is 2 mattresses joined together but I'm used to a big bed at home and this means collectively the bed is much bigger than a double. I slept really well, which is unusual for me! "This is a lovely hotel just reopened following the refurb after the infamous aquarium in the centre of the hotel shattered a few years ago. Must say the refurb is lovely (the aquarium replaced by a central column). The staff were great and professional and really looked after us. There were a couple of teething problems with the room tv and phone but soon resolved. Breakfast is lovely and the egg dishes off the a la carte are highly recommended! The location is ideal...right in the centre...
