When you drive up and see the wooded yard with screen porch and fire pit, it instantly puts you in vacation mode. "The house pictured is not the one we stayed in; storm damage made it uninhabitable the day before our check in, owner offered to change locations, and glad we did. We stayed in White House Ranch. If you want to “get away” from the rat race, this is your place. Tranquil location with cows & horses coming to greet you. Home was immaculate, kitchen lacked a couple of things, but Nancy, the housekeeper, went to store & purchased necessary items & delivered them right away. We enjoyed our stay."

It is very close to Warm Springs and the Little White House which is a very interesting piece of history to visit. Kim was very prompt to answer any questions and concerns we had!"

"We found the Rustic Star to be exactly as advertised and thoroughly enjoyed our weekend getaway. It is very convenient to FDR State Park, Warm Springs, and Pine Mountain/Callaway Gardens. We had a couple of needs arise during our stay and the managers were easy to reach and responded to our request. We would definitely recommend the Rustic Star. Everything was excellent with the exception of the satellite tv you have to hard reset anytime you change the channel and they say WiFi is available and it is but the WiFi has no modem and satellite hooked to it so there is not any internet access. This made staying in touch with work difficult for my daughter and I and exhausted our phones data plan. "The perfect spot to just get away! The cabin was absolutely perfect. It has everything you could need to stay in and cook, which we did the 1st night. The location is easy to find. Hosts are great at communication. The complimentary wine was a nice addition. We will definitely be back many more times! "

" The City Mill hotel is a beautiful hotel along the river walk. The mill renovations are wonderful. My room had a view of the river and it was great.The service: front desk, housekeeping, and breakfast area people were helpful, approachable, and kind. The restaurant was conveniently located. The dinner meal I ordered was delicious. The free continental breakfast from the hotel was a pleasant addition. I can't remember when I enjoyed a hotel stay this much!!!"

"The property appears to be a bit older, and the exterior seems to be undergoing some renovation, but the rooms, the facilities and the overall property were clean and well taken care of. Everyone that works there was really nice and friendly and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. I would definitely go back."
