"It was an adventure finding Belmesnil at night without GPS signal. We checked in late after resolving a minor confusion with our reservation. Found out that we had the entire chateau to ourselves for the night. My wife was afraid of ghosts but if there were any at Belmesnil, they were of the most welcoming and considerate kind. "Lovely ivy-covered gîte on the grounds of beautiful estate house. There some animals on the ground (goats chickens and ducks), and a pond nearby. Good size rooms, a small kitchen and it's reasonably well kitted out. Owner speaks English not very well so you will need to use google translation if you are not speaking French, but always got replies quickly."

"Our family of three and border collie stayed here for a week and had a really successful and pleasant time. The gite was clean and had an exceptionally well equipped kitchen with everything you could possibly need. The beds were comfy, and the garden was secure for our dog and big enough to play endless catch with the ball! The property was not overlooked and we spent a very peaceful week here and had beautiful weather. "

"Overall a great stay. Just what we needed for a week of doing nothing in a cosy, beautiful big house. If you want to get away from reality for a while this is the place. House was a perfect size for me and my family! We stayed here for Christmas and it is just what we wanted. "Wir haben uns in der Wohnung sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Lage ist ländlich und absolut ruhig. Im Garten lässt es sich sehr gut abends den Tag ausklingen lassen. Auch unserem kleinsten hat es sehr gut gefallen , er ist täglich mit den Tret-Traktoren gefahren. Tischtennis haben wir auch genossen. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war stets freundlich. Die Antwortzeit gering. Alles in allem sind wir recht zufrieden."
