"Well done to Marion and her team. They have booked us Taxis, made us Pizzas, provided local information for buses, shops and restaurants, supplied extra towels and a hairdryer. The continental style breakfast is good value in price, and the facility is clean and well managed. Everyone has spoken English, been polite, friendly and professional. This may be called a Hotel Ibis “Budget”, but it has high standards and all the staff work hard. Room 307 is at end of the corridor. It is a good size...

"Wonderful hosts made us welcome and able to give lots of information about the area. Delicious breakfast, swimming pool and donkeys! The bedroom was comfortable with lovely views to the donkey enclosure. Clean, modern bathroom with small fridge and tea and coffee making facilities. Air conditioning not effective unfortunately and outside cooking facilities require updating - lacking basic utensils and cleaning equipment- not a problem for a short stay but may be an issue for longer stays."

"This hotel is in a beautiful location with extensive grounds and several golf courses. The chateau is a lovely centre piece overlooking the lake. We stayed in Relais des Vigiers which is separate accommodation in the grounds. The room was large, very clean and the bathroom had a great shower. There was also an outside seating area. It was ver gomfortable. We also ate in the Bistro and the food was excellent. Would definitely recommend staying here."

"Lovely friendly staff, my upset at not having enough pillows and coat hangers was rectified immediately. The only downside was the breakfast was not worth the 10 E that it cost. Otherwise a comfortable stay. Would go again "

"The building and the grounds were beautiful. The decor was for us very old fashioned. A matter of opinion I’m sure and probably very French but the old pictures and stuffed animals were slightly too much. Having said that the restaurant was lovely as was the breakfast. We arrived very late and a very kind gentleman, stayed on to check us in. I’m sure in the summer months when the sun is shining and the pool is open it would be even more beautiful."

"It was decent. There are safes in the rooms but ours didn’t work. When I told the owner , he said that nobody were using them anyway. I said that people probably didn’t because they were not working, although they looked brand new. He responded that they needed batteries, but they didn’t need any since nobody was using them. This is definitely the wrong answer to qualify for being customer oriented. Some staff lacked grooming."

"The welcome and hospitality for the Clos team is truly genuine and thoughtful. Rooms are big and comfy and the pool is a bonus. Location is an easy walk to everything and parking is right outside the door at a reasonable rate (plus Clos has a few stalls as well - but book in advance). Great visit - Merci!"

"For the price I paid I was VERY Happy with Résidence Lagrange Vacances Le Clos des Vignes. Staff very friendly and helpful. Great location right next to the park / beach . We ate out most of the time but everything appeared to be within the apartment for those who eat in. Furniture a bit jaded, but again for what I paid for it I can't complain. Would definitely return. "

"The property was very comfortable and well equipped, a 15 minute walk to the centre of Tremolat across the bridge. The garden and field between the house and river are lovely -lots of birds and butterflies. The tables inside and in the garden were great for our party of 5 and would be fine for 6 to 8. We wound recommended to anyone😊"
