"Staff well manned hotel rooms lovely & clean .only down side the lunching & dinner are very expensive we had sausage & mash wish was £19.50 which is a long do not get me wrong the sausage are very tasty but not cheap. "

"A lovely mini weekend getaway, which I would thoroughly recommend. Greeted in arrival with a glsss of Prosecco and room was ready!! Room was spacious but slightly lacking in storage space. Spa room is lovely but can get overcrowded so maybe not quite as romantic / peaceful as you want. Lack of hanging space (robes) in the Spa. "My stay was excellent, the staff were very professional and accommodating. My meal in the restaurant wad amazing, compliments to the chef. The front of house manager Nicholas Crittenden was fantastic he was very knowledge about the menu and selection of food I ordered he is a credit to your establishment. "

"The staff couldn’t be more welcoming and friendly! Was so happy with the convenience of being near a Coop and the restaurant/bar nearby. Was able to have a delicious meal there one evening. The room was spacious, clean and well equipped with everything I needed. There wasn’t any noise from the other rooms apart from the doors slamming occasionally. The hotel in general was very quiet. Am definitely booking to stay here again whilst I am working in the area. Very happy! "

"2 night working trip solo. A lovely old pub with olde world charm. You really couldn't find a pub more quintessentially English. Rooms lovely and warm with spacious bathroom (Clover, block 4). Restaurant also very good but £11 for a glass of wine is pushing it a bit. Have the prawns starter and sausage and mash to get the best value out of it."
