"We only stayed there for a few days but it was great. Everything was setup and prepared. The fireplace and campfire were great. Lots of room to sleep. Would recommend."

"We had a awesome time but the only is was unable to adjust the heat and the cabin was freezing. Finally the host responded after trying to contact him and he unlock the thermostat in order to turn the heat up.After that we had a awesome time. The home is beautiful and accommodated all our needs. "

"The house pictured is not the one we stayed in; storm damage made it uninhabitable the day before our check in, owner offered to change locations, and glad we did. We stayed in White House Ranch. If you want to “get away” from the rat race, this is your place. Tranquil location with cows & horses coming to greet you. Home was immaculate, kitchen lacked a couple of things, but Nancy, the housekeeper, went to store & purchased necessary items & delivered them right away. We enjoyed our stay."

"This home and property was exactly what we needed and more! Our son was getting married at a nearby venue and this was the perfect retreat for our family. Our grandchildren love the pool and the animals, especially the horses. My favorite spot was the front porch swing. It was So peaceful and spacious I cannot say enough good things about our stay. The hosts were nearby & so great! I would love to go back! It was just what we needed and more."

"We found the Rustic Star to be exactly as advertised and thoroughly enjoyed our weekend getaway. It is very convenient to FDR State Park, Warm Springs, and Pine Mountain/Callaway Gardens. We had a couple of needs arise during our stay and the managers were easy to reach and responded to our request. We would definitely recommend the Rustic Star. The location was convenient and easy to find, but not quite as secluded as we had hoped. "

"This house is such a quaint place and so comfortable! Our family enjoyed the place as a relaxing place to unwind and spend time together. The beds are comfortable and everything is clean! While the kitchen is small, we were able to fix all of our meals there with no problems. Check in is extremely easy and while we had no issues, the owner is easy to reach if the need should arise. "It was perfect. In an area where most spaces are rustic, this location is updated, modern, and comfortable. We were so grateful for the two bedrooms and two bathrooms on the first floor THEN the beautiful loft upstairs which I used as my office during our stay. The design of the space is beautiful and everything was so clean. The beds slept very well and the couch will suck you in. only one quirky thing- the light switch for the living room is upstairs in the loft. Took us a while to find it...
