"This was one of our favorite stays on our trip. Nothing beats the view of the ocean and watching the clouds roll in with the church bell chiming in the background. Continental breakfast was great for the price of free. The only thing worth advising is that there are A LOT of steps to get up to the hotel, and with baggage it is not a task to be taken lightly. There is a second elevator in the town that would have solved this problem, but it is still closed for renovation. We managed though, and...

"The stag was incredibly friendly. The location is really great. The room that we “upgraded to” was tiny. They also told us when we checked in they upgraded us further to a nicer room than we purchased but I didn’t see how that could be. The room was just a bed with a small desk and a bathroom. Again, great staff, great location but the room itself left something to be desired. We could clearly hear the people in the room across the hall as if they were standing in the bathroom talking to us....

"The room and area were fantastic, however, a few things knocked the stars down. First is that the place is quite a walk from the train station with luggage, and was not easy to find. Second, there is no elevator to get your luggage up to the room, so after you are exhausted from making your way from the train station, you also have to haul your luggage up to the room. Third, it wasn't immediately obvious that there was a retractable screen in the bathroom for privacy, so there were some awkward...

Our room was a 2 room suite with a large balcony overlooking the sea - absolutely stunning views. Breakfast buffet was very nice with a large selections. Hotel offers transportation to and from main part of town - a very short walk but with luggage transportation is was very beneficial. Highly highly recommend this hotel . "

"This place exceed expectations, the church and naturist vibe were amazing. Who needs a TV or AC anyhow. Amazing views of the ocean, nice outside area with tables for enjoying a bottle of wine and watching the sunset. Went in July and even without AC temperatures overnight was in the low 60F. Close to two trails to Monterosso and Vernazza. For the true hiker who wants to be away from the tourist this place is the perfect fit"

"Great location! Amazing customer service!! They went above and beyond any place we've ever stayed at before. They met us at the train station to bring us to our room and when we were running late the next day they headed to the train station to help us get to where we needed to go on time. The room was very comfortable with a nice hot shower and good water pressure. Very impressed that they had recycling bins in the room. We highly recommend this hotel! "
