There was construction/ renovation around the area, banging during the day and the traffic noise at night was unbearable, Apartment was very old and dark, nothing updated. "We had a wonderful stay at the Marasusa complex in Parghelia. We found the apartment a little ‘tired’ and under equipped - a small saucepan, garlic press, larger dinner plates and better cutlery knives would help. The towels provided were clean but seemed very old and the pillows should have had pillow protectors on them. "Schöne, grosszügige Wohnung im oberen Stock eines 3-Familien-Hauses. Hübsch eingerichtet, Terrasse mit atemberaubendem Ausblick. Lage etwas oberhalb von Ricadi Lido. Fussweg zum Strand möglich, jedoch ziemlich steiler Rückweg."

"Functional apartment with sea view and patio. The kitchen has everything to prepare meals. Comfortable mattresses and a fabulous pool area were the highlights for us. Great location to visit spectacular beaches and very responsive owner and property manager. The property has one single AC unit in the kitchen. But it is sufficient to efficiently cool down the entire home. The internet is fast and stable. Thanks Jason for a great vacation."

"Genorously sized villa with great outside space/pool area with stunning views over the sea to Stromboli. The hosts were very warm and welcoming which made for a stress free stay. You need a car to explore the local area with the property being a short drive of a few minuites to the charming local town of Zambrone, a 5 minuite drive to the local beach and around 10 minutes to Tropea. "Wir haben im Oktober einen wunderschönen Urlaub verbracht. Wir sind mit dem Auto angereist, was aufgrund der Lage in 270 m Höhe gut war. Anlage war sehr schön, weitläufig und sauber. Insgesamt sind ca 15 Zimmer/Wohnungen da, ein schöner Pool, der bei voller Anlage für alle ausreicht, wenn man auch an den Strand geht. Der ist allerdings nur mit dem Auto zu erreichen oder man ist gut zu Fuß. Parkplätze am Strand im August wahrscheinlich schwierig. Die Tiere sind nicht zum Streicheln! Pferd...

"The hot water in the shower did not work for most of our stay, the issue was flagged multiple times but only resolved on the last day. One of the days we had to boil water to shower as hot water was not working at all. A somewhat adequate compensation was initially offered but later he changed the terms, saying extra charges for linen and towels "were being waived" and that was part of our compensation, however, at the time of booking and writing this review there is no mention of said charges...

"Appartamento in palazzina tranquilla con piscina. Ottimo posto per chi ha i bambini e vuole una vacanza in totale relax. Per raggiungere il mare bisogna utilizzare l'auto ma la prima spiaggia è a 5 min. Nelle vicinanze c'è un grande centro commerciale. Proprietaria gentilissima e disponibile. Sul posto i suoi intermediari sono sempre a disposizione per qualsiasi evenienza. Tornerò anche la prossima estate."

"Amazing place , the garden area is beautiful. Is peaceful and quite. Beautiful SPA recently open , is like paradise ! The pool area is great with beautiful view and amazing sunset 🌅. Personnel very kind and helpful , they even allowed me to do a late checkout at no cost . Breakfast , lunch and dinner are top !! Delicious local food and some international food also . The only negative for me was the bed 🛌, too hard and difficult to sleep. Overall Highly recommend . "

"The hotel is new and the room is very comfortable and had everything we needed. Beautiful and comfortable bed, large bathroom, great location. The only thing that could be improved is the breakfast. It was limited and the food didn't look fresh at the beginning of the year. Maybe they couldn't get supplies after New Year's Eve. All the rest was great."

"This place is simply incredible! My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights and were so impressed with the hotel and incredible views over the Tyrrhenian Sea. The resort was clean and safe, the beds very comfortable and the staff always friendly and helpful. The terrace is absolutely pristine and we felt like we had it all to ourselves at times during our October visit. The historic old town centre with plenty of restaurants and shopping is a short 7-8 minute walk away. Check out the Santuario Santa Maria dell'Isola and the beautiful sand beaches surrounding it. Shout out to Selena, Pawel the bartender and all the staff for making this trip such a memorable experience. This place will not dissapoint you and we look forward to coming back to Tropea and staying at Hotel Rocca Della Sena in the near future."
