"We ended up not staying. The description says it is a cabin, it is an old manufactured home (mobile home). When we pulled in there was items scattered around the yard, the grass hadn’t been mowed. When we got to the first step the wood need to be replaced. There were holes in the soffit. Once inside the couches looked old and dingy. The inside needed to be spruced up. I contacted the property owner and told her our concerns. Her response was “Things and furnitures are as in the pictures posted...

"Well the reason for the stay was to recouperate from a recent heart attack, we were looking for something tucked away in the woods, away from houses and traffic, with lots of property to walk around. Unfortunately we got neither, the house was on a busy road with houses right next door and the land went back 10 feet tops, the pictures were very diseving. The house was very nice but the location is what was important to us."

"My two adult children and I thoroughly enjoyed this wonderful home! Everything was clean, and it was very relaxing staying here. The hosts had great communication, and were very friendly. If you are considering this home, I would recommend it, but be aware that the stairs to the second floor are very steep, the bedrooms are upstairs and the bathroom is downstairs. It may not be suitable for people with limited mobility. But we loved this beautiful, historic home, and would gladly stay here...

"We were there for SUNY Cobleskill graduation weekend. The suite was very clean and very homey. The bedroom was very nice with a comfortable bed and the decor in the entire suite was beautiful. It was very close to the college. We enjoyed our stay there and highly recommend it to others! "
