"A good hotel that needs some money spent on room refreshes; furnishings and surfaces are all scratched, tired and worn out. Breakfast was also lovely but hardly anything available (no eggs, fruits, beans or mushrooms) - this was sad given it was a Saturday and it was busy but lots of empty tables. ."

"very nice comfortable hotel. Good Gym and pool facilities. Did not eat in the restaurant as a little out of my expenses price range. Ate in the bar. The food was very good, but the menu was a little limited and the bar restaurant lacked much atmosphere. All the staff were very friendly. As i was staying in November I saw very little of the outside areas, but the Christmas decorations that were up looked very pretty."

"My stay here was fantastic. It exceeded my expectations is pretty much every way, including luggage being taken up to my room so it was waiting for me when I was ready to check in. Breakfast was great and the wait wasnt very long at all for the meals being freshly cooked. The only downside was that the bed was hard as a rock, and i prefer a softer bed. I would recommend this hotel! "

"The property is pretty tired looking in all areas of the rooms. Noticed the room was quite chilly so turned in the oil heater in the room. There was a hole in the tiles by the toilet handle and mould round the showers door. The next evening on returning to the room the room was very cold and the window open but the handle was broken so couldn’t close it. Reception changed rooms for us but this room was more tired than the first and much more mound round the shower door. Apart from that it was...

"Hard to explain but definitely not as good as it looks in pictures. It’s kind of like it’s been repurposed at a hotel but in a cheap way. Fixtures and fittings are cheap kind of way and it’s poorly finished. Poor lighting etc. no coffee machine in room. Good to have the gym next door and great dining options. Very friendly staff at reception."

"Comfortable and nice atmosphere. Bar staff were very friendly and welcoming. Bedroom was lovely but a couple of housekeeping issues and on the last morning the cold water stopped working. We didn't have breakfast as we were short on time and it cost £24. It would have been nice to have a cheaper continental option for those in a rush."
