"We very much enjoyed our stay. The staff was friendly and helpful, especially the parking attendants. In particular, Jasmine & an older black gentleman were just lovely. One complaint is that the tub was a bit slippery, and for seniors it’s a hazard to step into."

"Christmas at the Gaylord is the best! I also appreciater the guest only additions this year. The bed in 1189 was TERRIBLE. I felt like I was sleeping on a wooden box. I have stayed at this hotel multiple times and ejoyed our experience but after sleeping in this bed I woke up in so much pain. Especially for the price I expect more. "

"The property overall was not in a bad location, but also not the most appealing location. The room is somewhat outdated compared to the price, but the hotel itself has some nice features. Breakfast was great. Large room, but still expected updated bed and bathroom, or updated shower separate from tub. A nice getaway from the kids, but expected more for the price."

"Overall stay was good. Easy access and really close to SMU campus. Food in hotel was pretty good and reasonably priced for a hotel. Only had one issue, and that was the shower doors could not close because of the weight bearings not working right."

"Nice, quirky hotel. A bit out of the way from downtown. Good big room with excellent bed and bedding. Got a great night's sleep. I liked the feel and ambiance, it had some interesting design features. It reminded me of a Kimptons before they changed to boring standardisation."
