"I traveled solo was a great place to stay. The studio apartment was perfect for me. enjoyed the swings and fire pit outside was nice place to relax and read . Town is walkable distance and there's a grocery store right across the way . check in at other location was easy and gentleman was helpful and polite."

"Genuinely if you’re in the area and seeking a tranquil little refuge. Look no further. Take it from a guy (me) who books everything last minute. I just happened to pick this place after a long day of hiking and traveling, only to discover how nice it was after. Clean cabins with wonderful owners. Close to everything in the nearby towns, but feels like you’re deep in the woods for a retreat. 10/10. "

"We had a lovely restful week in this well-appointed cabin in the woods. The walls, floors, and even the ceilings are made of wood all assembled by a ream of excellent carpenters. The kitchen is highly functional and well-outfitted. The stove works very well. The living areas are very comfortable as are the bedrooms. We enjoyed the wood stove. The cabin is located at the end of a 100 foot / 30 meter driveway. and is surrounded by forest. We spent many nights sitting on the covered porch...

"Had a girls trip to Lake Placid and booked the Boathouse 5. Place is just spectacular. The place was clean and well appointed. We will definitely stay again in the future!"

"Perfect house ! Everything you could want. Next time we will ask hockey team members to join us. Lots of bedrooms. Games for the kids. Obviously the hot tub is a bonus!"

"The location was great. Hiking to the third floor was not terrible. The decor and cleanliness were top notch. Only complaints were that it was cold in the apartment. The space heater was not enough to take the chill out of the air especially Saturday night when the temperatures dipped below freezing. "The property was great. The cabin had everything that you could want.Colby lake was great for fishing. The only problem was the property was too close to RT 86. It certainly was not a quiet location. The light from the electric company on Rt 86 came on at 6:30 and were on all night."

"We loved our stay in this cozy farmhouse. A few key items were missing in the kitchen: wine glasses, good knives, kitchen towels, jcloths. Also not enough seating to sit down for dinner together. We ate With the adults sitting around the couch and the kids at the small round table. "

"We have been going to the Adirondack for a long time but never explored Jay area. This cabin was easy access, in a lovely neighbourhood. Once in, we felt welcome by the warmth of the decor, cleanliness and a well set kitchen. Thank you for the wonderfull time!"

"The condo has a beautiful view and is walkable to downtown. Mirror Lake is closer than the photos indicate and we loved the hike around it. We enjoyed our stay and slept fine. The decor is filled with past Olympic memorabilia. The furnishings are very old and the linens do need to be updated. "

"Because of the Can AM tournament we were upgraded and it was unbelievable. Walking distance from everything. There was some mix up with transaction and deposit but the manager was amazing and so nice (which is something we’re not used to) I would recommend this hotel for a getaway, it felt like being home. Awesome "
