"We enjoyed our stay at the lake house for 3 nights in late October. Traveling from NYC as a couple with a 5 year old kid. While there we even managed to visit the magnificent Niagara Falls, which is only 1.5 hrs away! The house itself was clean bright minimalistic and very spacious. "Needed a place to stay when I was in Rochester for a wedding. This apartment was less than 10 minutes from our venue and could accommodate our group of 4 with two very comfortable bedrooms. Each room had its own A/C unit, which was perfect for the heat wave we had over that weekend. We also loved the full kitchen and open living/dining room space. "House is great, plenty of space. We had 7 guys stay there for a reunion trip and everyone had their own room, and we could have fit one more easily. We stayed in late September and unfortunately the pool was closed so we did not get to enjoy, but the hot tub was still open and was great. Only downside to the house is the kitchen. "The property was very nice and cozy. We were traveling with our dog and it was perfect for us. We enjoyed walking through the woods and exploring the frisbee golf course. "This farmhouse was the perfect location for us while visiting family that lives only a mile down the road. It is an old farmhouse, so of course there are quirks and imperfections. The most noticeable problem was the window blinds. They are tattered and missing in many places. The holes in the bedroom blinds meant lack of privacy and lights shining in the windows at night. Everything was very clean and had what we needed for our visit. The owner was quick to respond to our questions. There...

"We were in Rochester for three nights and opted for this apartment for its central location and historic neighborhood. So glad that we did. The apartment was perfect in every way. Tastefully decorated, comfortable furniture, very comfortable bed, and absolutely everything one might need in a kitchen. There were little touches that made us feel welcome, such a cozy bathrobes and fresh flowers. Communications with the owner was easy. I highly recommend this apartment!"

Clean white towels were provided, the bed linens were clean, all the dishes and glasses you could ever want, and there was even plentiful toilet paper and cleaning supplies if I desired to use them. "This is a nice place sitting right on the lake. Property was clean and well maintained, we didnt do any cooking but the kitchen had the basics. Full size W/D made it easy to come home without a stack of dirty laundry. Owner communication was very clear and timely. Off the beaten path and not a lot of people, which is our preference. an hour to Niagara Falls and an hour to Letchfield State Park, which is fantastic. We like the property so much, we booked it again next year. "

"This property is located on a dead-end road so very little traffic. Beautiful views, great location and very friendly neighbors. We went into Rochester a few times and enjoyed our time there, but found we all liked just hanging at the property. Now, I read the reviews about the door lock not being safe and it was disappointing to find after the reviews about this the door still hasn't been replaced. With that being said, the neighborhood is very qiuet and rural. We would definitely come back."
