"The room is very spacious. Our son traveled with us and was surprised to see another room with a king size bed on what we thought was a closet. The fridge is big enough to accommodate our daily groceries. Never expected to see a mini-kitchen in the room. Will definitely use this place again."

"We enjoyed our stay very much. It is one or two blocks to the bus stop, but is convenient to walk to Pontocho and shopping as well as Gion across the Kamo River. The Fresco grocery store was next door. The room had a nice kitchen and a spacious table for dining. The room was very large and even had a set of bunk beds which we didn’t need. The bed was firm but comfortable. It was in good a quiet location but close to many sites and to the bus system. "

"The location is convenience, inside is clean and tidy and the washing machine is a bonus for our trip. I wonder if YouTube will be available in future since we don’t understand Japanese languages provided at the TV. I also feel unpleasant when an extra blanket cannot be provided when we request it. Other than that, everything is fine."

"The check in and check out was extremely simple. Room setup and shower were both great. Having the laundry in the room was very convenient. Good location with highly rated restaurants and shops within walking distance. The negatives: - Being on the first floor and near the street is very loud. "Room was neatly equipped with a kitchenette and a washer/dryer - essential for our 10-night stay. There was ample room for the two of us, though for four people in the supposed quadruple room, space could be tight. Staff were very responsive to queries - just text them on their web platform. "Nice place and spacious "

"4 out of 5 stars.. 7 of us, just got out of the airport and tired, Check in part was all done online, so internet access is a must, mine internet was slow so check in didn’t go as smooth.. But when finally got in, the room was as described, walking distance to Dontobori and Fish market..Communication was done online. Would stay again.. Cons: check in didn’t go as quickly, specially when your tired from long plane ride"

"I liked the ease of arrival and easy access to our room. I like the close by walking distance to various restaurants and subway stops. I didnt like the steps.goijg into our.room. it goes up and then down Because it was late at night, i had triped 3 times and fell down badly. My dad also tripped twice and fell as well. A little oasis in Kyoto!

"Great experience staying her for 5 nights. Staff is friendly, the room was very clean and comfortable and the location is good. No complaints other than the WiFi was a little spotty at times perhaps they can work on improving that. I would definitely stay here again! "

"The room was much smaller than we thought it would be, which was fine, however it would have been nice to have under-bed luggage storage (which other APA hotels have). Especially with how small the rooms are, having a place to store your luggage would be handy. For reference, my boyfriend and I were traveling with one carry-on size each and a small backpack. Aside from that, no complaints at all! It's clean, safe and affordable! "
