"Gorgeous place to stay. Room was large with huge bed and living area. Big well equipped bathroom. Short drive to town for some dinner. Staff were extremely friendly and a pleasure to deal with. Great spot to stay when heading out to see the glow worm caves. "

"Yes, Mokino: Absolutely SENSATIONAL views !!! and Bookabach ask, did you enjoy your stay? Yes, I did as I do each time I stay. This is about my 5th or 6th stay at Mokino over the last 10 years with the previous visit just 12 months ago. The views of the beach and of a cloudless Mt Egmont at sunset are tremendous. The sound of the waves on the beach at night was so relaxing after the time spent on the beach each day with the climb up and down the path to and from the bach with the walk to the mouth of the Awakino river a couple of times a day all adding to the appreciation of the stay and the surroundings. I will come back to experiance it all again."
