"The views are stunning but the nightly train horns make it tough to sleep. The rooms are very dated but functional. Its ok for a one night stop but would not stay for multiple days. "

"I was expecting a good hotel based on internet booking, what I discovered was an exceptional hotel that I would love to revisit. It was spacious, staff helpful, and the Bistro's elegant breakfast a perfect way to start the day."

"If I had a low-slung car, I wouldn't have been able to get to the hotel, the driveway is super steep and it snowed a lot. So here's a tip: if there's a forecast of snow, don't go in a low-slung car."

"We had a great stay. I do agree with past reviews that more attention can be paid to details of cleanliness. However, the beds and towels and shower were very clean, which was most important to me. The property is great and while we didn’t eat in the restaurant, it was convenient to know we could still have a great dining experience without leaving. The grounds were a great plus and I’m sure it’s better in warmer months. The staff provided great service as well, would visit again. "
