"Really enjoyed our stay here. It was such a characterful hotel and our room was gorgeous with beautiful views over the Chobe river from the balcony. The game drives and river cruise were really good and a reasonable price. I would say, the service was very up and down, sometimes outstanding, at other times quite cold and disorganised. "Absolutely fabulous! What more could you ask for? Über friendly staff, excellent meals, food on request, and stunning rooms with a view from a hilltop. Lindi and Antony were particularly awesome. It is 7-8 chalets and a few campsites large. Advice for future travelers, turn off the tar road at the "Xhabe Safari 2km" sign at top of the hill and do not rely on the GPS. "

"Everything we had hoped for- to get away from a busy life for a few days, before business portion of trip. Our first river cruise/ game drive. Simone and Laura go out of there way to make each good feel included. Being at Serondela Lodge, with so few guests gave us able opportunity to meet and get to know each other. Being so far “ up the river” had tremendous opportunities. "

"It was a great experience. Super great location, the service was phenomenal and I really felt like I was among great friends. The best sunset is from the pool deck...at night we were visited by herds of elephants and hippo and it is just magical to watch them so close. The food....oh the food....it was incredible! I super recommend this beautiful lodge if you are visiting Chobe"

"We did a night drive with poor lights which broke down so we could hardly see anything. The only game on offer was game that could be viewed during the day we were hoping for nocturnal animals. We did a combo boat and game drive and drove all the way to the Linyati River which is a long way from the lodge only for there to be no keys to drive the boat. Supposedly they had been stolen by Botswanans - if this is a problem why would you leave your keys in the boat? We were given a complimentary...

"A very well appointed lodge, upmarket rooms or large ensuite tents. In keeping with our safari theme we choose the tent. Large, 4 single beds, why 4 I don't know, very clean, large ensuite shower bathroom area at the rear. Similarly large kitchen area/veranda/dining area with river view.
