"Great location for golfing at Hinton Golf Club across the street. Room was a bit cool and couldn’t adjust except by unplugging the HVAC. Bed was rather stiff and squeaky springs but not terrible. Excellent breakfast in the morning. Good value for the money overall."
"A beautiful out of the way location. Great skyline/mountain views. Dennis was an exquisite host and chef as we chose to have one of his fabulous 4 course dinners. Morning breakfast was great as well. The only down side was we were on a motorcycle and the area had received a fair amount of rain the day before we arrived that made the drive up the mountain driveway a bit challenging. We made it safely up and the next morning back down with only a small pucker factor!"

After a long 12-hour drive, we needed a place that was simple, affordable, and — most importantly — clean. This spot was exactly that. The room was modest, nothing fancy, but it was spotless and the bed was very comfortable, which made for a restful night. The small AC unit kept the room perfectly cool, and there was basic cable TV for some downtime. While the door has a standard lock, I would suggest adding a chain lock for a bit of extra peace of mind. Overall, a clean and comfortable stay that was just what we needed for a quick stopover."
