Homely B&B with unbelievable views. A quick drive into the centre of Donegal Town. Kristina is a great host and provided some very useful information around where to go in the local area.
Kristina's house is beautiful. I stayed in the king room as it had an ensuite. View was gorgeous and the area very quiet - rural. I would stay again - thank you!
Katrina was very friendly and I was well looked after. Breakfast was excellent with a wide range of options and was gorgeous. My room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. If I’m back in the area, whether with work or family, I would hope to stay here.
Great hostess. Would have preferred separate bath but it was modern and clean. TV sitting room nice feature and luggage stands in room. Beautiful view high on a hill. Little scary to park but got used to it. Overall great stay with lovely people in a gorgeous setting. 🍀
Fantastic views from this location over Lough Eske to the Bluestack Mountains. Kristina was a great host, friendly and knowledgeable of the local sights. Large comfortable rooms, although not ensuite, and very welcoming with freshly baked biscuits and lovely cooked breakfast. Recommended!
We had a lovely 3 day stay at Donamar House, the views from the house are beautiful. Kristina made us feel very welcome and could not have done more to look after us, nothing was too much trouble and her cooked breakfasts were a highlight. She is also very knowledgeable about the local area and this was really helpful. Only minor issue with accommodation is the shared bathroom but we knew about that when we booked and made our choice.
Kristina was wonderful. Helpful with directions, breakfast was great. It was a little hard to find but I didn't see that she had sent directions via email the day we arrived. Shower was a little small. Enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.
This was our favourite host in Ireland
Christina handed us warm baked shamrock shortbread cookies upon arrival
Later when we asked to borrow an iron she ironed and steamed a couple items herself She was very informative and gave great recommendations. We loved the people of donegal so warm and inviting. Small quaint town. Don’t miss Lough Eske Castle for a dinner !
It surpassed all my expectations.Donamar overlooks a charming Irish lake peppered with tidy homes, but THIS home was spectacular
..perfect for our three generation family, so beautiful with a stunning, to-die-for bath. The beds were so comfy and the bedding the nicest ever. Christina and Gareth were so helpful and kind, especially to my "wee" grandson. And the breakfast was fabulous. My son now wants to return with his in-laws.
The host Kristina and Gareth are very friendly and welcoming. The view is beautiful with modern room that is warm and welcoming. And be sure to enjoy the tasty breakfast it's a real treat. We had a great stay with great host that are a wealth of information about the area.
