"The hotel was really nice. The staff did help us in many areas but even though they lived in Durban their knowledge was fairly limited about the area. All we were told was not to go out at night as it was not safe for white people. Even during the day do not wear a watch or show your phone. When I asked about groceries or getting a sim card they didn'r really know where I should go. Eventually a porter told me the best place to go which was only a 5 minute walk. The restaurant and staff in there...

"Was first boked to room with no ocean view. The room has one queen size bed. I requested a room with ocean view and two double bed. I was moved to another room which was smoking room. Bad experience this time around. Had to call several times for housekeeping to reclean the bath room. It had a bad smell."
