"This is a beautiful big country cabin and the theme holds up through out. Only caution is it can be hard to find at night and there is no cell service in the area. "Great get away, remote yet within easy reach of Nevada City and Grass Valley. Was a wonderful place for our post-thanksgiving family retreat (7 people, ages 17-83 plus dogs) where we bonded with lots of good conversation in the lovely house which is well designed with open spaces. Secure gated area for dogs which is very nice. Lovely property to stroll around. Recommend day trip to Empire Mine and to Nevada City. Overall, a terrific visit"

Parking is excellent and it is just a short walk a bit downhill along a path to where you stay. The deck out back is secluded and very pretty. Established trails down to Deer Creek are a few steps down the dead end road. A lovely and quiet neighborhood. The hosts are great."
