"We weren't sure what to expect but enjoyed our stay and it was suitable for what we needed to do whilst in Ostersund. We had a number of sled dogs with us and these were accommodated without restriction. I can only give an average score on a number of things as I don't have anything much to compare against. However, the owners/managers were lovely, friendly and helpful and even came to watch at our event that we were taking part in. Down side, our water heater might not have been working too...

"A most charming hotel in a perfectly located Jugend-style building. Very helpful & friendly staff and a superb breakfast w home-made bread, soft/runny boiled eggs etc. Also ask for a really good place to dine nearby (you get 10% as guest of Leopold).. Thank you! "

"Really quaint property located in shopping district. The breakfast they offered was great and so was the staff. Negative: we parked where we understood was an allowed space in parking garage nearby but got a 600 krona ticket."

"This property is great for a stay if you are visiting the university. There are 2 supermarkets near by and you have access to the kitchen and dining room. "

"Nice two days business visit at Östersund, hotel is in good spot right in the hard of the town, depite to that it was easy to find free over night place for big van I was travelling."

"Roger, this man is a lifesaver! We arrived at this hotel tired from several days of skiing. We were pleased to see a free spa with jacuzzis and a sauna. It has a beautiful interior and smells/looks so clean. There were also snacks and drinks to purchase up front. We had to be at the airport at 4:30 a.m. the next morning but didn’t rent a car. The taxis were also all refusing to drive us. But Roger, the front desk manager at the time, so kindly offered to drive us and all of our luggage to the airport. We were so grateful and relieved. I’m not sure what we are would’ve done without him!!!! We wished we could’ve stayed longer in this beautiful place. Cannot recommend it enough! "

Family trip to Sled Dog Championships

"We weren't sure what to expect but enjoyed our stay and it was suitable for what we needed to do whilst in Ostersund. We had a number of sled dogs with us and these were accommodated without restriction. I can only give an average score on a number of things as I don't have anything much to compare against. However, the owners/managers were lovely, friendly and helpful and even came to watch at our event that we were taking part in. Down side, our water heater might not have been working too well as only one shower before having to wait a couple of hours for another person to be able to have one. No instructions as to how to use cooker/other kitchen appliances. Surprised we had to pay extra for bedding and towels. Lovey location and views, convenient for Ostersund town centre access and close to airport. We would definitely go back if returning to the same event."
