However a few things to make it better : 1- the oven/microwave didn’t work even after trying a few times. It needs a master in engineering to make it work. "Could not fault our stay in this wonderful cottage and stunning location. A haven for walkers and for those that like peace and quiet in the countryside. "

"Great for our party of 13 as there was plenty of room for us all and the kitchen was well equipped with cooking equipment ,plates and glasses etc. Some of the rooms and areas look a bit tired and could do with an upgrade (stair carpets, walls painting and floors could be cleaner downstairs) but bathrooms clean and beds comfy. it’s also great to have the farm shop and the pub next door is great - very friendly and helpful and lovely pub meal and service."

"Good location for Sheffield although the area is a bit drab. Parking was more difficult than we expected. The apartment does not have its own parking, it's street parking any mostly permit holder only with literally a few spare free spaces so it's luck if you get one. The apartment block is nicely decorated and we had room 1 which was a studio. Had every thing you needed including dishwasher & washing machine and detergents for both (neither of which we used) but no shower gel in bathroom....

"We had a wonderful stay at corner cottage and would definitely return! The cottage is lovely and cosy, full of everything you need, and has a wonderful picturesque location with two fantastic pubs and a village shop. Speaking with the owner ahead of our arrival, he provided us with a wealth of info about the cottage, as well as the local area and places to visit. It was our first visit to the Peak District but certainly won’t be the last! Thanks for a wonderful weekend stay. "

"The property was as described and was clean and comfortable and in a good location. Check in was easy. However this is the only property I have EVER stayed in that didnt provide any tea coffee milk etc. Even budget hotels do this. It made the place seem unwelcoming and meant we hsd nothing to drink on arrival after a long journey. The same applies to the minute amount of hand soap provided. Also, a bin bag would have been useful. Parking was ok but was on the street and at a distance...fine...

"We took our little boy for an over night stay and the illuminations and we all loved it. The resort view was great, the illuminations looked great at night from the room. The onsite amenities like the soft play and super child friendly resteraunt were great. We loved the everything about it and have already booked to come back at Christmas this year. "

"Stayed one night on New Year’s Eve . Could not fault the hotel in anyway. So quick and easy check in . Lovely and clean . Staff very pleasant and helpful. Bedroom and bathroom very spacious and added bonus was large shower and a bath . Hotel was very easy to find and great central location. Would definitely recommend and stay again."
