"We had a pleasant two night stay at Auberge des Grands Bois. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. It could have benefited from air conditioning but there was a Dyson Air Fan available and fortunately the weather was not too warm. The staff were friendly and breakfast was delivered to the room. "Cheap and very basic. Handy to find somewhere for £60 a night that has a fridge, mini kitchen. Underground parking cost extra. Breakfast was basic, not much choice. "Lovely apartment that can comfortably fit a family of 4. It was clean and everything in working order. It's central and we could see the ski lifts from our balcony. Liz made the check in process very simple and we enjoyed our stay here. I would stay here again."

"Lovely little cottage in a peaceful location in Métabief area. Host was very communicative leading up to our arrival and made us feel welcome. Cleaning was arranged prior to arrival and they kindly gave us access to everything at the property. Great base for visiting Jura region and lakes north of Lake Geneva. Lake Neuchâtel is about an hour away and we visited Chamonix which was about 2 1/2 hours away."

"This is a fabulous property and well-deserving of its 4 stars. Sadly, I came when the fog had descended on the area so I couldn't see the stunning views, but I have been to the area numerous times and know they are breathtaking. I loved that the Epesses train stop was 3 minutes from the hotel (be aware there are a lot of steps to get there). I had to talk with the front desk several times for personal reasons and they were nothing short of magnificent and helpful. The place was so clean and had lots of lovely space to breathe. I highly recommend this hotel. "

"We had a lovely 3-night stay at the Royal Plaza Montreux. It was an easy walk from the Montreux station (also easy to get a taxi if you have a lot of luggage and don’t want to walk). We walked to the Christmas market, which was wonderful! It was also an easy walk to the shopping district, which had tons of shopping and restaurants. In addition, the bus was super easy to use, goes right by the hotel, and takes you to shopping as well as Chillon castle. The hotel breakfast on the main floor was lovely, with plenty of options. The hot buffet on the lower level was also very good with a ton of options. But perhaps the best thing was the gorgeous view of the lake and the mountains from the hotel lobby!"
