"Beautiful house! Huge and well equipped. Lovely and warm. Worth noting that the sofa bed in the fourth bedroom is only really big enough for one adult or two children. Also worth saying that there is no TV in the house- didn’t bother us as we were out a lot, but it might bother other people. The house is very tech heavy- which was a bit tricky as the main screen in the kitchen didn’t seem to be working but we figured it out through trial and error. We would definitely be back- loved it! "

"Awesome stay and place is as stated! Communication was exceptional and thorough. The views are amazing and it’s set in a nice quiet area away from the hustle of the “tourist” area in Akureyri, but close enough to dip in and out. I would definitely recommend this location. "We rented the cottage for one night. It was a short stay. It really is a cottage out in the middle of nowhere. But the cottage is fully equipped with kitchen, and we were able to see some northern lights. Enjoyed the stay."

"Check in was easy. The cottage is very lovely with nice windows in all directions. We also got to enjoy the peaceful outdoor hot tub as well. Host communication was excellent. "It was ‘not to bad’ overall except that there are too many flies in the house, I would attribute this to the season. Clean but quite a cold house to stay in, strong wind from the mountain behind it penetrates the logs and I feel the heating is not efficient and sufficient so it felt cold for a visitor coming from tropical countries. Overall was good, also I would advise host to have more ‘user guide’ friendly to guests, probably instructions and information of the house, as only the owner would...
