"Beautiful bougainvillea plants. Plenty of parking. Adequate, large-enough room, comfortable king bed and pillows. Everything worked well. Being a 102F-degree day, the pool looked inviting from a distance. Closer look showed quite a bit of hair and similar debris floating on the surface-- does the skimmer not work? "The property itself was very good. The first night was quite quiet but the second night we got serenaded with loud Spanish singing from 3 am - 4:30 am. The phone in the room did not work so we couldn't contact the office. When we reported it at check out the lady at reception really didn't seem to care. We realize it was out her hands but she could have been a little bit sympathetic. "

"To describe this place as refurbished was ridiculous. Old, tatty, grubby, worn, unloved would be more accurate descriptions. A part of the bathroom wall was actually missing where a tile had come off, leaving a hole in the wall big enough for a family of rats to come through. It was game over for me when I sat down on the bed and a giant cockroach scurried across the floor from under it. "Was just what we wanted for our hunt. A place to sleep and hang out together. The inside is outdated and needs some attention but was clean. Would like to have a few more supplies such as paper towels, trash bags and more towels. The host was gracious and made himself available and even called at one point when he was notified of a possible problem with the door lock. Will definitely consider staying again next year. "
