Pros: clean, professional and hardworking staff, nice pools, fresh food and drinks. The beach is nice. I grew up on the Atlantic coast and this is a nice trip down memory lane. Cons: The fire alarm rang 5 nights in a row. Crazy. Very hard to explore the Dominican Republic as you are 100km from Santo Domingo and Punta Cana, 1h30 in each direction. Not much to do around the property and your movements are monitored. Some (you might!) really love this sheltered world, but it’s not our cup of tea. The DR is mostly safe. We escaped to Santo Domingo for a day and had a wonderful cultural experience. The resort will actively try to discourage your attempts to get an Uber and explore (require ID pre authorization which Uber drivers mostly don’t want to do). We felt that the range of activities on the property is limited and there are no nearby restaurants outside the all inclusive ones. No shops or mall close by. So again you might love the place or not. Depends on your preferences. We saw guests who loved this place and will come back.

The staff was amazing and attentive. We met so many incredible people. There was a foam party, Michael Jackson performance, and night club. It was a wonderful experience. We stayed in the adult part of the resort. The beach was beautiful. The staff at the beach was great. I would definitely visit again.
