Less than 3 miles from Downtown Ellijay. Fast wifi & flat roads! "Stay Awhile" is where we swing on front porch swings, laugh in the screened porch & enjoy s'mores by the fire pit. It's all about relaxing & enjoying each other. The home is set up for small & big kids. Perfect location to go hiking, mountain biking, river tubing, shopping, site seeing, local wine tasting or to spend fall days picking apples at nearby orchards.

KITCHEN: Fully stocked and ready for your steak dinner. We have stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, Keurig and large coffee pot, knife set, Crock-Pot, dishware & flatware, wine glasses and wine openers, kids dishware & kids cups
GENERAL: Washer & dryer, laundry detergent, towels/linens, free WiFi, 2 hair dryers, central heating & air conditioning, ceiling fans
PARKING: Paved Driveway and parking pad (4+ vehicles)
STAIRS: 3 Stairs to get on the front porch. 3 Stairs to enter through the side porch.
PETS: Pet friendly with fee (paid pre-trip, dogs only, max 2 allowed) $50 pet fee and all dogs must be house trained and over 18 months old. You must agree to keep your dogs off the furniture, keep them crated when left alone, and to pick up after them in the yard.
SMOKING: No smoking/vaping/e-cigarettes/open flames.
ROADS: Flat easy roads to home. The last 0.5 a mile is on a privately maintained gravel road. Home located at the end of a cul-de-sac of a local neighborhood that is spaced out.
TRASH: There is a black trashcan on the side of the house. Housekeeping will take away at checkout. If staying for an extended stay or have a lot of trash we ask that guest take it to Gilmer Landfill Scale House less than 2 miles from home. Its a $1 a bag to drop off.
MOTORCYCLES: Yes, we have parking for your trailers. Roads are all paved except the last 1/4 of a mile which is hard packed gravel. Our driveway slopes up and levels off at the top to plenty of flat parking.

Home is located at the end of a cul-de-sac of a local neighborhood. It is within 5 min. to downtown and about 10min to the local Walmart.
Home is on a privately maintained road that is gravel for less than half a mile.

We are available by app, text or phone. I do silance my phone at 9p.m. If you are going to be checking in later than that I ask that you let me know.

Our home is in a local neighborhood at the end of a cul-de-sac. We are only 2.9 miles from downtown Ellijay and a quick 18 miles to Blue Ridge. Our roads are flat and easy to navigate. We also have a large paved driveway.

Plenty of parking! Paved driveway with side parking area. Driveway has an unpaved portion that loops around if needed as well.

Once you book we will send you a welcome letter with our recommendations on things to do and places to visit.
Do not add any additional chemicals or bubbles to the hot tub.

Use of hot tub is permitted at your own risk.

If reservation is canceled during refundable period, a 4% credit card processing fee will be charged.

If bringing pets $50 Pet fee required. Limit 2 pets per stay. Pets are not allowed on furniture. Notify us prior to check-in.

Great and relaxing place to stay
Everything was as advertised. House was secluded and private and we had a great time. The kids loved the bunk bed room and we were pleasantly surprised by a king sized master bed. The fire pit and hot tub were nice as well. We definitely hope we get the chance to stay here again.

Awesome home get away
The house is just as described, perfect get away location. Close enough to area trails and great views and still be able to make it to town and explore the quiet Ellijay downtown. The host were very great and checked in to make sure we had everything we needed.

Neat, Clean Convenient Stay
It was perfect for our needs. It was clean and convenient for us to stay and visit other small towns around the area. Gave us the peace that we would come home to a clean place. We forgot to mention that the electricity was out from about 12:30 until around 5:00 am our last day. No ones fault, it was due to the awful storms that night.

Ellijay For New Years
Ellijay is a the sweetest little town and this home gave us a sweet place to stay while visiting. The location is close to town and the vineyards are a short drive. We did have an issue with dirty dishes being stored for use but a quick note to the host alleviated our concerns for future visitors. All in all, a nice place to stay if you’re considering a trip to Ellijay.

140 Hidden Hollow—Perfect!
We enjoyed our stay and the accommodations were perfect—accurately presented in the pictures. Communication with Ashly was welcomed and helpful. I believe Ashly and Chad have dedicated themselves to be the quintessential hosts in keeping 140 Hidden Hollow a warm, welcoming vacation spot. We enjoyed using the charcoal grill, the outdoor fire ring, the hot tub, the well-equipped kitchen, the gas fireplace, the comfy king-sized bed, and master bath. There were even Fall decorations in the house and entry! We’d love to stay there again!

Pleasant stay
This house has everything you might need. Kids plates for the littles, the kids loved the bunk beds. Two king beds , so you don’t need to fight over the big bed. Two bathrooms . We loved the screened in porch for coffee in the morning and a drink in the evening. A fire pit for s’mores with the kids. The hosts are easy to reach with questions and check in a few times to make sure the stay is going well. We would definitely stay again!

Our Visit to Stay Awhile
I would highly recommend this lovely home, not just because it is cozy, cute, and well-appointed, but because the hosts are so gracious and such care has been taken with supplying everything we needed. It was comfortable and inviting, and due to the season, beautifully decorated for Christmas! The beds were amazingly comfortable and we enjoyed the open concept of the kitchen and living room. We enjoyed the fireplace and firepit and had such a fun, snuggly reunion with family for the holidays. Thank you for everything and we would certainly stay again! The Harris Family

Conveniently Located, Very Comfortable Beds and Great Owners
Loved coffee in the screened room in the morning! Beds were very comfortable. No carpet but nice rugs makes for a great combination for those traveling with pets. (As did the screen room). The kitchen had just about any kind of pan, dish or utensils that you could possibly want. The home was very well stocked. The owners were VERY accommodating. We identified a couple of small things and the owners were there immediately to address them. A very nice property that was conveniently located for our needs.

Great Relaxing Stay!
We were have a kitchen remodel and the stress of being without a kitchen was getting to us, so we decided to get away for a few day. This did the trick. Everything was easy, the owner check in our first day to make sure everything was okay. Bed were comfortable. Everything we need was provided. So I can't find a thing to complain about! Well - it was to dang hot outside, but we won't blame Ashly for that!

We wanted to stay another day.
This is a great property. Check-in and check-out were a breeze. Communication with the property manager/owner was excellent. The firepit and hot tub were placed close to the back of the home. We spent most of our time on the wonderful porch. The only negative was that the hot tub was not covered to protect you from the weather. If you love relaxing and enjoying family time, this is the place for you. We all agreed that we will return next year.

Relaxing getaway
Everything about our trip to explore the area was great. Communication was seamless with everything we needed to know to checkin before we arrived. Stay Awhile with its cute rustic chic decor was well appointed - they thought of virtually anything we might need. Fast, reliable Wifi always worked when we needed it. We really enjoyed our coffee on the screened porch in the mornings and soaking in the hot tub in the evening. The location was quick access to dowtown Ellijay where we enjoyed several great restaurants, coffee shops and exploring. A great experience for our first time in the area. Will definitely come back again for another getaway. Thanks for sharing your place!

Great place
The house was wonderful. Just as advertised. Clean, well marked and as well stocked as any I’ve stayed in. Bed was extremely comfortable. Enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit also. Was a little disappointing that so much of Ellijay was closed Monday/Tuesday. Obviously that’s out of the hands of owners. We did enjoy Blue Ridge and a train ride while there. Ashly was excellent keeping us updated. (fyi: I did have trouble reaching her. I responded to email, text and phone number listed in link but never a response. Maybe it was something on my end). It was nothing urgent that I needed and as I said, I was constantly getting notices from her. The trip was nice, especially the house.

Much needed R & R
Ashley and Chad were very attentive hosts. We had a few bumps along the way and they did what they could to resolve it. Quiet neighborhood overall. Roosters nearby do their thing. Ellijay is quaint and enjoyable.
