It made life a lot easier for us to have our evening meal there rather than head out on a winter evening with young children. Our boys really liked the table football in reception and the rooms were no frills but well presented and cleaned. "The hotel its self was lovely and so was the staff but whatever you do, don’t park on the royal Victoria hotel. This is the car park right to the side of the metropolitan. Me and my sister came up for new year, to come back from being out to find her car window to be smashed in!! Stole her dashcam, money, cards ect!!! Royal Victoria hotel was no help! Parked by cameras for this exact reason but wasn’t able to view! He had done a few cars on this car park ! Be careful "
