"The restaurant was a most pleasant place to have a meal. The staff were attentive and kept things topped up or cleared away. Everything else in the hotels seemed to be well thought out. Keep it up!"

"We had a lovely stay at the hotel. We had a complimentary room upgrade which was a lovely surprise as we visited for our wedding anniversary. Very clean and spacious room with a big comfy bed. Only 1 small negative - we wish the room had a fridge."

"This hotel is very convenient for regular buses into Oxford city centre and was a perfect spot for our two day visit. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was excellent and I really appreciated the gluten free options that were available. The bar and seating area are very comfortable and inviting with a lovely patio area also available. I wasn't happy with the sign saying we had to pay for car parking. Not sure why people with a car should have this additional payment, however, in the end we had the charge dropped. Would definitely put me off staying in future if this was enforced."

" Walton Hall is gorgeous and we thought we were staying in there but we were put in a different building so disappointed with that but our room was spotless and well appointed, very close to restaurant and bar. Food was great but most of the bar staff were new and need more training. They were friendly but extremely slow and didn’t have a lot of bartending knowledge. "

"Room was very good however the bar service left a lot to be desired. Too few staff and ran out of draught lager on Saturday. Clearly not prepared for the number of people booked into the hotel. "
