"The staff at The Columns are extremely nice and helpful. The included breakfast has many nice options and is well-prepared. We had both a double room on the first floor and a balcony room on second floor in our party, and we much preferred the first floor. It’s more spacious, better laid out, and has high ceilings. The second floor is not great for tall people because there are so many low ceilings, and the rooms feel cramped. "

"Had a great stay at the hotel. Staff are lovely. Has its own beach (but could do with a few extra loungers). Swimming was safe, no strong currents. Breakfast is buffet style - quite good. Food in general is also good particularly the asian menu, but you will also want to go outside the hotel for some variation. If you want your room cleaned you need to leave the door hanger out. "This is an adequate hotel but its on the wrong side of town. The walk to the riverside is down a busy road with occasion dogs roaming about. You can get a grab which is probably the best option . Probably not worth the money. Breakfast is poor "
