Spend your next vacation in a beautiful Crystal River Ranch mountain home near the Crystal mountain ski area and Mount Rainier Sunrise Lodge. In the spring, summer and fall travel across Chinook pass or White Pass over the Cascade Mountains or drive Cayuse Pass to Mt. Rainier’s Paradise Lodge. The CRR home is 65 miles, 90 minutes, from Seattle off highway 410, 10 miles from the White River/Sunrise entrance of Mt Rainier National Park and 18 miles from the Crystal Mountain ski area. In addition to riding the gondola to the 6872' Crystal Mountain Summit House for an alpine dinner, spectacular views of Mt. Rainier and a mountain top alpine adventure Crystal offers special summer events in their day lodge and base meadow.
In July through September the wild flowers on the upper elevations Mt. Rainier and Crystal are blooming. The National forest offers multiple day hike and overnight trails to crystal clear lakes and alpine meadows. From the White River campground experience high alpine weather and walk on the Inner glacier, the second most popular approach to Mt. Rainier’s summit. Or, drive to Sunrise and a Mt. Rainier National Park day lodge. The 90 mile Mount Rainer Wonderland trail circumnavigates the mountain and travels through Sunrise and the White River campground.
In the lowlands off highway 410 explore the banks of three rivers, go for a mountain bike ride , horseback ride, fish, relax or take a motorcycle trip across the Cascade Mountains on the Naches trail. Crystal River Ranch has a river walk, community center and recreation area. The cabin has a supply of outdoor furniture, a hammock and a tree swing for the kids.
Our Crystal River Ranch home accommodates a maximum of 6 people in three bedrooms, on two queen beds and two single beds. The loft bedroom is large and has its own bathroom. The second bathroom and two bedrooms are located on the main floor.
CRR is a community of part time and full time residents located at 2300’. A local herd of Elk wander the community and can be viewed on the roads, in yards and on the lawn of the community center. There are no businesses in the Ranch but a handful of stores and one dining/tavern option are two miles west in Greenwater. There are additional dining and store options east at Alta Vista and Crystal mountain or further west beyond Greenwater in Enumclaw.
The cabin is furnished with linens, towels, blankets, cutlery and all the pans you can imagine using. The only thing missing is you, your food, clothing, personal toiletries and 5 friends.
