"We recently booked this place for my in-laws while they were in the process of moving, and it was perfect. The location was incredibly convenient, and everything was exactly as advertised—clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. Communication with the owner was outstanding from start to finish. She was responsive, helpful, and even went out of her way to accommodate an early check-in, which we really appreciated during a hectic time. "The location is stunning with views from the terrace across the Lake and down on the lovely hillside village of Nesso. We had a great 3 week stay in the quirky house, where Mira the house manager was more than helpful and available if required. The house is well equipped if you choose to cook, though we didn’t. We felt that the indoor and outdoor furniture could have been more comfortable, including the main double bed.There are 2 well stocked mini markets quite close by 100-200m down the steps, 2 bars about the same distance and a restaurant an easy 300m walk - open for dinner and some lunches, others are lower down the steep village hill.Nesso is a pretty and quaint village, but very very hilly. The walk down the very steep steps and alleyways to the ferry port, Google estimated at 17mins. Coming back up was quite hard for two quite fit seniors, requiring rest breaks along with other tourists.The roads on the Nesso side of the lake to Como or Bellagio are very narrow. As an experienced driver in Italy, our Fiat Panda was about the largest car I would drive there. 15km to Como often took 30mins mostly in 3rd gear. Equally the little road from the main road to the private car park was less than 2m wide, (there is a warning sign at the turn in) with very few (but some) passing places. Car parking spaces around the different levels of the windy road through Nesso are at a premium. We never found one in the 3 weeks stay in early June. It’s a great for exploring the Lake."

"Was blown away by my stay. The space was wonderfully appointed, and everything was very clean and new! Check in and check out was a breeze, with a very generous 12pm checkout time! Would certainly stay here again! "

"I arrived, and the room they offered me was full of garbage bags and extra furniture. Luckily, they answered my call and gave me another room, but I was supposed to have a king bed, not a queen. The ceiling light didn't work, so I gathered lamps to light the room. I felt unsafe as a man was sleeping in the shared space and was bothering my friend. The bathroom smells awful, but there was toilet paper by the sink. There is a hole in front of the urinals, which I suspect was an attempt to make a peek hole into the room I was supposed to sleep in. Someone put a fork in the shared kitchen, which attracted 100s of ants to the kitchen, and there were fruit flies around the trash can. It's a very eccentric and interesting room, but it was a bit unsettling. Our first night, we didn't hear anything from the 1st-floor nightclub, so I thought we were safe, but Saturday night, they played music well past 2 am. My friends wanted to get up early to go home for work, but we lost a lot of sleep to the pounding music. It would've been great if we didn't have to get up early, but it's just not the right place for a hostel. I looked in and there were only 3 people in the nightclub. Frustrating that I lost sleep over it. The area is nice, 20-30 min walk to the canal and close to There, There- a great sandwich from there. The lock on the door made me feel safe, and it was a nice room, aside from the broken light. The towels they provided me were dirst and had bits of rice or something in it."
